Be A Blessing (Bepalo)

KEY VERSE: Gen 12:1-3 The Lord had said to Abram,”Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing…..and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

– God is calling Abram and the calling has a command and a promise. Abram is tried, whether he loved his native soil and dearest friends or he could willingly leave all to go along with God. Abram was to leave all his country, his culture and the customs of worshipping idols and follow The Lord into the nation which he would show him. He was to trust entirely on the guidance of God and wherever He might lead him. His departure required an unparalleled act of faith. He was told nothing about the nation to which he must go. Abram is not only to receive a blessing, but to be a blessing or a medium of blessing to the nations. CHOOSE TO BE A BLESSING. YOU ARE BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING. BEPALO TO OTHERS

Make An Eternal Life Choice (2)

MESSAGE: This verse is saying that we have a CHOICE TO MAKE. We can continue to seek to guide our own lives, which results in emptiness, or we can choose to pursue God and His will for our lives with a whole heart, which will result in living life to the full, having the desires of our hearts met, and finding contentment and satisfaction. This is so because God loves us and desires the best for us and not necessarily the easiest life, but the most FULFILLING life to His glory. whole-hearted disciples of Christ Jesus who have truly stopped pursuing their OWN DESIRES to pursue instead GOD’S PURPOSES have made a CHOICE of daily completely surrendering their WILL to CHRIST JESUS and HIS PERFECT WILL. Following Jesus Christ, Therefore, meant a true COMMITMENT, the risk of DEATH and NO TURNING BACK or GIVING UP. Real discipleship implies real commitment of pledging our WHOLE EXISTENCE TO HIS SERVICE. My friends and family, if we try to save our physical life from death, pain or discomfort, we may RISK LOSING OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE. If we protect ourselves from the pain God calls us to suffer, we begin to die spiritually and emotionally. Our lives turn inward and we lose God’s intended purpose for us. We do find the REAL PURPOSE/MEANING OF LIFE not necessarily from having house, car, money, job, clear career, education, wife, husband, higher position, good complexion, good reputation, favored, good health, having children, born in rich family, more achievements or in short having all worldly wealth BUT only by SURRENDERING WHOLE OUR LIVES TO JESUS CHRIST AND GIVE OURSELVES IN SERVICE TO HIM THROUGH WHATEVER WE ARE DOING OR INVOLVED IN eg Job/Work, Business, Ministry, Church, Calling, Studying, or any professions or involvements. Have you made this CHOICE? ARE YOU WILLING TO MAKE NOW? Its easier to come to Jesus. Come now

God Is In Control (2)

KEY VERSE: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
(Romans 8:28

MESSAGE: IN THIS WORLD THERE WILL BE TERRIBLE TIMES ESPECIALLY IN THE LAST DAYS. Today’s main verse has been in my mouth day and night. My friends and family, i can assure you despite of all these terrible happenings GOD IS IN CONTROL. He has promised to never leave us and to help us in time of distress. Our hope in times of testing is to magnify the Lord to see him IN CONTROL and bigger than our challenges or difficulties. Though God is always with us, we will have to suffer in this world. If it is the storms of this life that cause us to grow in our faith, then God must allow this struggle to reveal his power and give us the knowledge of who we are in Christ Jesus. His purpose and plan for our lives cannot fail. You may feel alone in your time of trouble/difficult/pain BUT you will never be alone. You belong to him and he has given his angels watch over you. If you can magnify God and trust him in all things, he will prove himself faithful as he takes you through the furnace of your affliction and bring you safely to a place of his PEACE and JOY. He has POWER and FULL CONTROL over all that comes against you and there is always a purpose in what he allows in your life. Trusting that God will work everything out and give to you all that he has promised can be difficult as the shadow of the enemy permeates this earth. For that reason, it is so important that you see and understand the God who had no beginning and no end. God is the source of all that is good and he withholds nothing of benefit from those who LOVE him. You have to know that God is BIGGER and STRONGER than all of the CHALLENGES/DIFFICULTIES that are happening everywhere.God sent Jesus to die for you so that you will have a future with promise full of bright future. Jesus defeated death and made us more than conquerors in the battle of this world. SHOUT! REGARDLESS OF THE TERRIBLE HAPPENINGS, IAM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR IN JESUS CHRIST!

Grow In Love (2)

THEME: Grow In Love (2)

Colossians 1:3-4
‘We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people’

2 Thessalonians 1:3
‘We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.’

Thessalonians 1:2-3
‘We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.’

Philippians 1:9
‘And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight’

The verses I selected above are all from the opening chapters of letters written by Paul. In each one the joy he has when he is made aware of the faith and love that is evident in the church is overwhelming. However even when a church is growing in its faith and is full of love, even labouring hard because of its love (1 Thessalonians), Paul urges them to continue increasing in their love for one another. Later in 1 Thessalonians (3:12), after having commended the church for its labour on love, Paul writes ‘May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you’.
I was really struck when reading these verses by the fact that loving one another is something Paul comes back to in almost all his letters to the different churches. He may have had different messages for the different congregations, but he keeps coming back to increasing in love. He did this because he knew that the love a christian shows is a measure of how well they are doing in their faith, he knew that love fulfills all the law (Galatians 5:14). If we love perfectly we will keep the law perfectly. If we strive to do everything in love we will sin less and less and look like Christ more and more; and that makes perfect sense, after all, God IS love (1John 4:8).
Have you ever wondered what Paul would say to you if he wrote you a letter? I’m not sure what exactly he might write, but I’m pretty certain he would urge you to grow in love.

Satisfy God Daily (2)

KEY VERSE: 1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

MESSAGE: Samuel before anointed David may have been trying to find someone who looked like Saul to be Israel’s next king because Saul was tall and handsome; he was an impressive looking man. The difference between one human being and another, as God sees us, has little or nothing to do with the size of our house, the kind of car we drive, how much money we have in our pockets or banks, the job we do, or any of these outward things. It is not these things that God is looking at; He is looking at something else – the HEART. The supreme issue with God is – What sort of a HEART have you got? Because human beings cannot see the HEART as God can – but only go to the HEART in a measure through outward things – human beings are very good at disguising their HEARTS. We can disguise what is in our HEARTS with our clothes, accent, jewellery or whatever. God goes straight to the centre, right to the closet of the soul which is the thing He calls here the ‘HEART’. This is why it is so important for you and I to go to CHURCH. It is only as we come to the presence of God that we learn the difference between the outward things of life and our HEART. Nobody else will tell you that. The world is only interested in the peripheral things, the externals of life: how much money, how good looking, what perfume, and what hairstyle. That’s all the world is interest in but God is interested in the REAL YOU. In a sense that is profoundly disturbing because you can’t hide yourself from God as you can from men. Pay attention to your heart.

Preach Peace

KEY VERSE: Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

MESSAGE: The founders and promoters of peace, who not only keep the peace, but seek to bring people into harmony with each other. Those who make men friends with each other; those who work to stop people from being enemies. Those who not only seek peace and avoid quarrels, as far as in their power, but who also labor to settle differences among others, who advice all men to live at peace, and take away every occasion of hatred and strife. Those lovers of God and man who utterly detest and abhor all strife and debate, all variance and contention, and accordingly labor with all their might, either to prevent this fire of hell from being kindled, or when it is kindled from breaking out, or when it is broken out, from spreading farther. They endeavor to calm the stormy spirits of men, to quiet their turbulent passions, to soften the minds of contending parties, and, if possible, reconcile them to each other. They use all innocent arts, and employ all their strength, all the talents which God has given them, as well as to preserve peace where it is, and restore it where it is not. It is the joy of their heart to promote, to confirm, to increase, mutual good-will among men, but more especially among the children of God. God will consider them and he will have a relationship with them like a father with his children. Christians should bring peace between people and God and between those who are at odds with each other. Our great effort is to preserve life and to reconcile sinners to God. Strive to bring others to a knowledge of Jesus, that they may know the true peace. Peacemakers love, make and promote peace. We become children of God by obeying Him. LET’S PREACH PEACE, UNITY AND LOVE.

Priotise The God’s Kingdom

KEY VERSE: “And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee” (Luke 4:43-44).

MESSAGE: The Lord Jesus went about preaching from city to city and promoting the kingdom. My friends and family, Lets priotise the mission of promoting God’s Kingdom. Be Involved in promoting God’s kingdom. Make it your priority. Together we can priotise God’s kingdom and promote it. Let’s be involved.

Let God Be Your Happiness

THEME: Let God Be Your Happiness

KEY VERSE: Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4 NIV

MESSAGE: In this world everyone desires happiness and we do find it through different ways and sources. But of all the sources of happiness God is the free and lasting source. Let the source of your happiness be only God not worldly possessions. Possessions have temporary happiness. Choose God’s happiness which is eternal. Rejoice 24/7 in God regardless of the challenges or problems. God is with you

It’s All About Loving God And One Another

Matthew 22:34-40
34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Q: How can I do this?
A: BE INVOLVED in seeing, thinking, talking and doing EVERYTHING that are pleasing to God.
A: BE INVOLVED into His global mission of going to all nations telling people the Good News and make them obedience based disciples for the kingdom
A: SEEK GOD FIRST. Let God be the final Decider about your whole life and everything connected to you. God above ALL

Q: How can I do this?
A: LOVE all your enemies if you have but I know we have only one enemy who is the devil not people and be quick to forgive everyone who hurts you
A: DESIRE AND DO to others as you would have them do to you instead of giving them what they deserve
A: BE QUICK to help others unconditionally whenever they need it.

My friends and family, By the power of The Holy Spirit, Choose to use ALL the current occasions and ALL the functions and ALL the celebrations ONLY TO LOVE GOD, TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER AND TO LOVE THE LOST PEOPLE BY HELPING THEM HOW THEY CAN BELIEVE IN JESUS CHIRIST FOR THEM TO BE SAVED. I believe I can, you can and together we can LOVE GOD, LOVE ONE ANOTHER AND LOVE THE WORLD TO GOD’S GLORY

1 Corinthians 13:1-13
1 John 4:7-8

[genuine LOVE seeks the welfare/goodness of the other person at the cost of your best interests/comforts]

Love The Lord (2)

KEY VERSE: Deuteronomy 6:5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

MESSAGE: To the one indivisible Jehovah undivided devotion and love are due. The heart is the nature of man, including his intellectual, emotional, and cognitive futurities; soul is the personality, and the strength is the sum of energies, bodily and mental. The whole man is to be yielded to Him in holy and devout affection. To love God and worship and serve Him is the highest privilege we can have, so when God commands us to love, He is inviting us to that which is the BEST. With sincere love; not in word and tongue only, saying we love him when our hearts are not with him. Love nothing else besides him and we must know him. That this love of God may shed abroad in our hearts!
